Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026.
Who is responsible
Zenitha is published by a private individual, on a non-professional basis. For any question about your data, or to exercise your rights: contact@zenitha.app.
Without an account: your birth data is not stored
- Birth date, time and place are sent to our server for as long as it takes to compute the map, then forgotten. They are neither stored nor written to a log.
- In your browser, they stay in the tab's storage (
sessionStorage), which is cleared when you close the tab. - The letters typed in the place field are used to look the city up in our database, and are not stored.
- Your IP address is used, in memory and for a few minutes, to limit the number of requests per visitor. It is not stored in a database.
The email address left for the ranking
- What is stored: the address, the site language and the date. No birth data is attached to it.
- Why: to open the city ranking for you, and to write to you once when the PDF report comes out. No marketing, no resale, no transfer.
- Legal basis: your consent, given by leaving the address.
- How long: 3 years from the last time you left it or wrote to us, after which it is erased.
- Unsubscribing: every message we send contains an unsubscribe link. You can also ask for erasure at contact@zenitha.app.
The price survey
It is anonymous: we store the language, the chosen answer and the free comment, with no email address, no account, nothing linking them to you. Do not write personal information in the comment.
With an account (Google sign-in)
- What Google sends us: your email address and your name. Your first name shows in the header; the address only appears on the "My account" page.
- The charts you save: the name you give them, the birth date, time and place (name, coordinates, time zone). Only you can access them.
- Legal basis: providing the service you ask for by creating the account.
- How long: as long as the account exists.
Your rights
- Access: the My charts page shows everything stored about your births, and My account shows the account address.
- Erasure: "Delete my account", on the My account page, immediately erases the account, the saved charts and, from the ranking list, the address of your Google account.
- ⚠️ If you left a different address for the ranking than your Google account's, nothing links it to the account: deleting the account does not erase it. Write to contact@zenitha.app to have it removed.
- Rectification, objection, restriction, portability: write to contact@zenitha.app.
- Complaints: you can contact the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr), or the authority of your country.

Who processes data for us
- Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany): hosts the site and the computation.
- Supabase: database and sign-in, hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt).
- Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.
- OpenFreeMap: provides the base map. Your browser downloads it directly from their servers, which therefore see your IP address, like any site you visit. No birth data is sent to them.
We do not sell or transfer any data.
